THUNDER RIVER THEATRE COMPANY HITS THE MARK
WITH "MOON OVER THE BREWERY"
DIRECTED AND DESIGNED BY LON WINSTON
Excerpts from Theatre Review By Carrie Click / The Aspen Times

Once again, the company has hit the mark with one of their productions. In the past, TRTC has produced well-known, quality theater: Oleanna, True West, Tally's Folly and 'night, Mother have demonstrated the company's ability to tackle tough and provocative drama. With Moon Over the Brewery, TRTC ventures into playwright Bruce Graham's world. Under the direction of Winston, Graham's coming-of-age play comes to life in Carbondale.

The play is so good, so quick, so funny and so well-written that this reviewer found herself wondering why Bruce Graham isn't a household name. It's a tightly constructed piece that weaves the characters together as they grow to understand themselves - and each other - better.

Judging from the laughter, the tears and the applause, this audience appreciated a top-notch performance.
